Back story:
My name is Mark. I am old. I have a hobby. Getting discarded laptops back in
service. I am not a certified refurbisher. However, I do know how to replace parts
that don’t work. My computer of choice is the iconic Lenovo Thinkpad. These are
excellent machines. They are also very well built. In their programming, tests are
included. These tests are comprehensive. And a pass is a good thing. Whether
that is refurbishing, or not, you decide.
Value:
Going to a store to buy a new laptop at a cheap price, ($200 range) You get
something with 8 Gb RAM and 120 Gb of SSD storage. With an operating
system that is bloated and slow. In my shop you get an operating system that is
new and lite. The RAM and SSD are 2x the size. Result? A fast computer that
works out of the box. How much value does a working computer have that will
last at least 2 years.
Conclusion:
Try our offerings for 6 months. If your machine continues to work, write us a
comprehensive positive review.

Objective:
Take machines that have been given up on, and make them do useful work
again. I search online marketplaces to find machines that have lost the shine of a
NEW machine. Some have been harvested for parts. Which is a shame, because
if they simply fixed, or upgraded what was wrong, whoever would not have to
spend a ton of money to do useful work.
